Installation Steps:
- Remove Existing Toilet Seat: Lift the hinge covers and use a screwdriver to remove the mounting bolts. Remove the old seat.
- Install T-Valve: Turn off the water supply to your toilet. Flush the toilet to drain the tank. Disconnect the existing water supply hose from the toilet tank fill valve. Install the provided T-valve onto the toilet tank fill valve. Reconnect the toilet water supply hose to the bottom of the T-valve.
- Connect Bidet Hose: Connect one end of the bidet hose to the side of the T-valve and the other end to the water inlet on the bidet seat.
- (Optional) Connect Hot Water Flex Tubing: For warm water functionality, connect the 81-inch hot water flex tubing to the hot water inlet on the bidet seat. Route the tubing to a nearby hot water supply (e.g., under a sink) and connect it using appropriate fittings (not included). Do not substitute the provided tubing.
- Install Mounting Bracket: Place the adjustable mounting bracket over the toilet bolt holes. Insert the mounting bolts through the bracket and toilet holes, securing them from underneath with barrel nuts. Adjust the bracket position to align with the bidet seat.
- Attach Bidet Seat: Slide the bidet seat onto the mounting bracket until it clicks into place.
- Restore Water Supply: Slowly turn on the water supply to the toilet. Check for any leaks at all connections.

6. Operating Instructions
The Brondell Swash EcoSeat S102 is operated using two side-mounted dials.
- Water Temperature Control Dial: Rotate this dial to select your desired water temperature, from cold to warm. If the hot water flex tubing is not connected, only cold water will be available.
- Water Pressure Control & Nozzle Selection Dial: This dial controls both the wash mode and water pressure.
- Turn the dial towards 'FRONT' for a feminine wash.
- Turn the dial towards 'REAR' for a posterior wash.
- The further you turn the dial, the higher the water pressure will be.
- Return the dial to 'OFF' to stop the wash and retract the nozzles.
For optimal performance, ensure you are seated on the bidet seat when operating the wash functions.
7. Maintenance & Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal hygiene and extends the life of your bidet seat.
- Nozzle Cleaning: The nozzles are self-cleaning. They rinse themselves before and after each use. For a more thorough manual cleaning, gently pull out the nozzles and wipe them with a soft cloth and mild soap.
- Seat Cleaning: Use a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner to wipe down the bidet seat and lid. The quick-release button allows for easy removal of the seat from the toilet for more thorough cleaning of both the seat and the toilet bowl area.
- General Cleaning: Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, bleach, or abrasive pads, as these can damage the plastic surfaces and chrome finishes.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No water or low water pressure | Water supply valve is closed; T-valve is blocked; Bidet hose kinked. | Ensure toilet water supply valve is fully open. Check T-valve for obstructions. Straighten bidet hose. |
| No warm water | Hot water flex tubing not connected; Hot water supply turned off; Insufficient time for warm water to reach bidet. | Verify hot water flex tubing is correctly installed and connected to a hot water source. Ensure hot water supply is on. Allow a few moments for warm water to travel from the source to the bidet. |
| Leaks from connections | Loose connections; Damaged washers. | Tighten all connections by hand, then a quarter turn with a wrench. Do not overtighten. Check washers for proper seating and damage; replace if necessary. |
| Nozzles not extending or retracting properly | Debris in nozzle mechanism; Dial not fully engaged. | Clean nozzles and surrounding area. Ensure the pressure/nozzle selection dial is turned fully to 'FRONT' or 'REAR'. |
