4. Setup

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Locking the Device

  1. Wrap the chain around your bicycle frame and a secure, immovable object (e.g., a bike rack, lamppost).
  2. Insert the end link of the chain into the integrated lock head.
  3. Insert one of the provided keys into the lock cylinder and turn it to secure the mechanism. The key will remain in the lock when unlocked and can only be removed once the lock is secured.
  4. Ensure the chain is taut to minimize leverage points for potential thieves.

5.2 Unlocking the Device

  1. Insert the key into the lock cylinder.
  2. Turn the key to disengage the locking mechanism.
  3. Remove the chain end link from the lock head.
  4. Remove the key from the lock.

7. Troubleshooting

7.2 Lock mechanism is stiff

  • Lubricate the internal locking mechanism with a PTFE-based lubricant.
