Setup and Assembly
The AtomStack C4 Pro is designed for quick setup, arriving 70% pre-assembled. Follow these steps for complete assembly:
- X-axis Assembly: Place the X-axis assembly horizontally into the base slots. Ensure a tight, seamless splicing to maintain accuracy.
- Secure X-axis: After aligning, screw in the M5x8 screws to firmly attach the X-axis.
- Cable Management (X-axis): Unscrew the cable clamp, insert the wiring harness, and reattach the clamp. Then, insert the X-axis motor cable.
- Tank Track Installation: Use three M3x6 screws to secure the tank track to the bracket. Repeat for the Z-axis assembly.
- Terminal Connections: Insert the terminals into the corresponding sockets according to their colors.
- Y-axis Motor Cable: Insert the Y-axis motor cable into its designated port.
- Spindle Holder: Secure the spindle holder to the spindle assembly using M6x60 screws.
- Spindle Power Cable: Insert the spindle power supply cable.
- Handle Holder: Secure the handle holder to the right side panel using M3x6 screws.
- Milling Cutter Installation: Install the milling cutter head and tighten it with the provided Allen wrench.
- Controller Connection: Connect the controller to the machine.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your AtomStack C4 Pro.
- Dust Collection: Utilize a dust collection system to keep the work area clean and prevent debris from affecting mechanical components. The machine's design helps keep internal mechanics protected from dust.
- Limit Switches: Exercise caution when adjusting or cleaning around the limit switches. These small metal components are crucial for machine operation and can be damaged if handled roughly. Consider covering them during heavy-duty operations or when cleaning.
- Lead Screws: Periodically inspect and clean the lead screws to ensure smooth operation and prevent slippage.

Troubleshooting
- Lead Screw Slippage: If you experience issues with the lead screws, such as slippage or inconsistent movement, inspect the connection points between the lead screws and the stepper motors. Ensure all connections are secure and free from debris. Adjustments may be necessary to reduce friction.
- Damaged Limit Switches: If a limit switch is damaged (e.g., the metal spade is broken), it will need to be replaced. Handle these components with care during assembly and maintenance to prevent damage.
