Setup
Battery Installation
The Klein Tools 935DAG requires two AAA batteries (included). To install or replace batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit.
- Use a small screwdriver to loosen the screw on the battery cover.
- Remove the cover and insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw.
Power On/Off
Press the red power button (labeled with a circle and vertical line) to turn the unit ON or OFF.

Operating Instructions
Basic Angle Measurement
To measure an absolute angle:
- Place the gauge on a flat, level surface.
- Press the 'ZERO' button to calibrate the unit to 0.0 degrees.
- Place the gauge on the surface or object you wish to measure. The display will show the angle relative to the calibrated zero.

Relative Angle Measurement
To measure the angle between two surfaces:
- Place the gauge on the first surface.
- Press the 'ZERO' button. The display will show 0.0 degrees, establishing this as your reference angle.
- Move the gauge to the second surface. The display will now show the angle difference between the first and second surfaces.

Hold Function
Press the 'HOLD' button to freeze the current measurement on the display. This is useful when measuring in hard-to-see areas. Press 'HOLD' again to release the measurement.

Auto-Rotating Display
The display automatically rotates 180 degrees when the unit is inverted, ensuring the reading is always upright and easy to view, regardless of the gauge's orientation.

Magnetic Base and V-Grooves
The strong magnetic base allows the gauge to adhere to ferromagnetic surfaces, providing hands-free operation. The V-groove edges on all four sides ensure stable placement and optimal alignment on curved surfaces like pipes and conduits.

Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the unit with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the unit is dry before storage.
Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section.
