Operating Instructions

Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle starts. It will power off automatically when the vehicle is turned off.
  • Touch Screen Interface: The 10-inch IPS touch screen allows for easy navigation and setting adjustments. Tap icons to access different functions and menus.
  • Recording Modes:
    • Loop Recording: Videos are recorded in continuous loops. When the memory card is full, the oldest unlocked files are automatically overwritten to make space for new recordings.
    • G-Sensor (Emergency Recording): In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-sensor will automatically detect the event and lock the current video file, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording.
    • Parking Monitor: When enabled, the dash cam will automatically start recording if it detects a collision or vibration while the vehicle is parked. This feature requires a continuous power supply (hardwire kit, sold separately, may be needed for 24-hour monitoring).

  • Rear View: Displays only the live feed from the rear camera.
  • Split Screen: Displays live feeds from both the front and rear cameras simultaneously.
  • Reversing Aid System: When the vehicle is put into reverse, the screen will automatically switch to the rear camera view with parking guidelines (if properly connected to the reverse light trigger).
