5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will extend the life and performance of your RC car:
- Cleaning: After each use, especially in dirty or wet conditions, clean the vehicle to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Use a soft brush or compressed air. Avoid using water directly on electronic components unless specifically designed for it (IPX4 rating protects against splashes, not submersion).
- Inspection: Periodically check for loose screws, damaged parts, or worn tires. Tighten any loose fasteners. Replace damaged components promptly.
- Battery Care: Always store batteries in a dry, cool, and clean place. If not using the batteries for a long period, it is recommended to charge them every 7 days to prevent over-discharging and maintain battery health.
- Lubrication: Occasionally lubricate moving parts like gears and bearings with appropriate RC lubricant to reduce friction and wear.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your HAIBOXING RC Car, refer to the table below for common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause & Solution |
|---|---|
| Stopped working after a few use |
|
| Steering works but the car won't run |
|
| Not go straight |
|
| Batteries can't take charge |
|
| Not go reverse |
|
| One of the wheels does not turn | The drive shaft that drives the wheel has come away or is damaged or the wheel is not well secured. |
| Shuts off itself | This problem may arise from the low battery voltage cutoff or overheat cutoff. Charging the batteries or waiting until the ESC is cooled down. If the problem still occurs, replace with the new ESC. |
| No signal connection, binding failure | Please try with fresh batteries and try in the other place. Make sure you have not driven it out of range. If the problem still occurs, please contact us for parts' replacement service. |
| Not steering | Make sure it does not steer properly or it does not steer in the least. Make sure the steering posts, steering links, or the servo saver and the steering servo are all in good working order. Make sure no objects are invading in and hampering the steering system. |
| Smaller than expected | It is typically a 1/12th hobby grade RC vehicle with proportional steering and throttle control, fast and well-constructed. It is fun to drive. Make a try and enjoy an authentic drive. |
| Missing parts | Although every car has been strictly tested before leaving the factory, inadvertent mistakes or damage during transportation may occur. If it is the case, please contact us for assistance. |
| The car run itself when switched on | Please re-bind. Do not move the trigger and steering wheel until the vehicle has been bound with the transmitter. If the problem still occurs, please contact us for assistance. |
