Setup and Connectivity

1. Operating System Toggle

The K6 keyboard features a toggle switch on its side to select between Mac and Windows operating system layouts. Ensure this switch is set to your desired operating system for correct key functionality.

2. Wireless (Bluetooth) Connection

  1. Locate the connectivity mode switch on the side of the keyboard and slide it to the 'Bluetooth' position.
  2. On your device (computer, tablet, smartphone), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select 'Keychron K6' from the list of available devices to pair.
  4. The keyboard can connect with up to 3 devices. Use the Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3 key combinations to switch between paired devices.

3. Wired (USB Type-C) Connection

  1. Locate the connectivity mode switch on the side of the keyboard and slide it to the 'Cable' position.
  2. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable from the keyboard to your computer's USB port.
  3. The keyboard will automatically be recognized and function as a wired keyboard.
