Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Clean: Before first use, wash all removable parts (lid, baskets, bottle stand) in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. Wipe the base unit with a damp cloth.
  3. Assemble:
    • Place the lower basket onto the base unit.
    • Insert the bottle stand into the lower basket.
    • Place the upper basket on top of the bottle stand.
    • Cover with the lid.
  4. Position: Place the assembled sterilizer on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface, away from children.

Operating Instructions

The Nuvita Sterieasy Pro Digital 1084 sterilizes up to 6 bottles in approximately 6 minutes.

  1. Prepare Items: Wash all bottles, teats, and accessories thoroughly before placing them in the sterilizer.
  2. Add Water: Pour 90ml of distilled water onto the heating plate in the base unit. Do not overfill.
  3. Load Sterilizer:
    • Place bottles upside down on the bottle stand in the lower basket. This sterilizer accommodates both glass and wide-neck bottles.
    • Place teats, pacifiers, and other small accessories in the upper basket.
  4. Close Lid: Securely place the lid on the sterilizer.
  5. Connect Power: Plug the sterilizer into a suitable electrical outlet.
  6. Start Cycle: Press the power button (usually indicated by a power symbol) on the base unit. The digital display will show the sterilization countdown.
  7. Cycle Completion: The sterilizer will automatically switch off when the cycle is complete. A beep may sound.
  8. 24-Hour Sterilization: Items inside the sterilizer will remain sterile for up to 24 hours if the lid remains unopened. The digital display will show a countdown every 8 hours to remind you of the remaining sterility time.
  9. Remove Items: Allow the unit to cool for a few minutes before carefully removing the lid. Use tongs to remove hot items to avoid burns.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your sterilizer.

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the sterilizer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Wash Removable Parts: Wash the lid, baskets, and bottle stand in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. These parts are often dishwasher-safe (check product markings if available).
  3. Clean Heating Plate: Wipe the heating plate with a damp cloth to remove any water residue. For limescale buildup, use a descaling solution suitable for kitchen appliances or a mixture of white vinegar and water.
    • Pour 50ml of white vinegar and 50ml of water onto the heating plate.
    • Let it stand for 30 minutes to an hour, or until the limescale dissolves.
    • Pour out the solution and rinse the heating plate thoroughly with clean water.
    • Wipe dry.
  4. Clean Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
  5. Storage: Store the clean and dry sterilizer in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting
