Setup

Physical Installation

The Elo 6553L display can be mounted in landscape, portrait, or tabletop orientations. Ensure the mounting surface or stand is capable of supporting the display's weight of 111.1 pounds (50.4 kg) and dimensions of 58.69 x 3.17 x 34.08 inches (149.07 x 8.05 x 86.56 cm).

Connecting the Display

Locate the input/output ports on the back of the display. Connect the provided cables as follows:

• Connect the HDMI 2.0 cable from your source device (e.g., computer, media player) to an HDMI input port on the display.
• Connect the USB cable (Type-A to Type-C) from your source device to a USB port on the display to enable touch functionality. The display has two USB ports.
• Connect the appropriate power cable to the display and then to a power outlet.
• (Optional) Use the Serial 3.5mm to DB9 cable for serial control if required by your setup.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off

1. Ensure all cables are securely connected.
2. Press the power button located on the display's frame. The power indicator light will illuminate.
3. To power off, press and hold the power button until the display shuts down.

Touch Functionality

The Elo 6553L features TouchPro PCAP technology, supporting up to 40 simultaneous touches. This allows for multi-user interaction and precise control. The anti-glare glass enhances visibility in various lighting conditions.

• Use your finger or a compatible stylus for touch input.
• The display supports standard multi-touch gestures such as pinch-to-zoom, swipe, and tap.
• For advanced whiteboarding features, an optional Elo Computer Module (ECMG4) is required.
