Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the steam press and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the steam press on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Ensure adequate space around the unit for safe operation. A compatible stand (Model ST-07A) can be used for ergonomic positioning.

  3. Filling the Water Tank:
    • Ensure the steam press is unplugged.
    • Locate the water tank fill opening.
    • Fill the 150 ml tank with distilled water to prevent mineral buildup. Do not overfill.
    • Close the water tank cap securely.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Turn on the steam press using the power switch. The digital display will illuminate.
  2. Select Fabric Setting: Use the digital controls to select the appropriate fabric setting (e.g., Nylon, Silk, Wool, Cotton, Linen). Refer to garment care labels for guidance. The unit will begin to heat up.

  3. Pre-heating: Allow the press to reach the selected temperature. The unit heats up to the nylon setting in approximately 66 seconds.
  4. Positioning Fabric: Carefully place the fabric flat on the ironing board. Ensure there are no wrinkles or folds in the area to be pressed.
  5. Pressing: Lower the pressing plate onto the fabric. The locking knob can be used to secure the plate in the closed position for continuous pressing.

  6. Steam Function:
    • For continuous steam, ensure the steam function is activated via the controls.
    • For on-demand steam bursts, press the steam burst buttons located on the handle.
    • Steam is released from the pressing plate to help remove wrinkles.

  7. Auto Shut-Off: The appliance is equipped with an auto shut-off feature for safety. If left unattended for a period, it will automatically power down.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting
