The headset features a compact design with an integrated ear hook for secure fit. It includes a micro-USB port for charging and control buttons for various functions.
Setup
1. Charging the Headset
Before first use, fully charge your headset.
- Connect the micro-USB end of the charging cable to the charging port on the headset.
- Connect the USB-A end of the charging cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The indicator light will show the charging status (e.g., red for charging, blue for fully charged).
- Charging typically takes approximately 1-2 hours.
2. Pairing with a Bluetooth Device
The TELLUR Vox 50 headset is designed for easy and fast pairing.
- Power On: Press and hold the Multi-function Button (MFB) until the indicator light flashes blue and red alternately, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- Activate Bluetooth: On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, turn on Bluetooth.
- Search for Devices: In your device's Bluetooth settings, search for available devices.
- Select "TELLUR Vox 50": From the list of found devices, select "TELLUR Vox 50".
- Confirm Pairing: Once successfully paired, the indicator light on the headset will flash blue slowly or turn off, and you will hear a confirmation tone.
Note: If prompted for a password, enter "0000". The headset will automatically connect to the last paired device when powered on, if it's within range and Bluetooth is active.
3. Multipoint Technology
The headset supports multipoint technology, allowing simultaneous connection with two smartphones.
- Pair the headset with the first smartphone as described above.
- Disable Bluetooth on the first smartphone.
- Put the headset back into pairing mode and pair it with the second smartphone.
- Re-enable Bluetooth on the first smartphone. The headset should now be connected to both devices.
When a call comes in on one phone, the headset will automatically switch to that phone. If a second call comes in while you are on the first call, you can switch between calls.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the MFB for approximately 3 seconds until the blue indicator light flashes.
- Power Off: Press and hold the MFB for approximately 5 seconds until the red indicator light flashes and then turns off.
Call Management
- Answer Call: Press the MFB once.
- End Call: Press the MFB once during a call.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the MFB for approximately 2 seconds during an incoming call.
- Redial Last Number: Double-press the MFB when the headset is idle.
- Voice Assistant: Press and hold the MFB for approximately 2 seconds when the headset is idle to activate your device's voice assistant (Siri, Google Assistant, etc.).
Volume Control
The headset's volume is typically controlled by the connected device. Adjust the volume directly on your smartphone or tablet.
Music Playback (if supported by device)
- Play/Pause: Press the MFB once.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the headset. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use, store the headset in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the headset regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
