4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The Shadowhawk X800 can be powered by either one 3.7V rechargeable Lithium-ion battery (included) or three AAA batteries (not included, requires AAA battery holder).
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
- For Rechargeable Battery: Insert the included 3.7V rechargeable Lithium-ion battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head.
- For AAA Batteries: Place three AAA batteries into the provided AAA battery holder, ensuring correct polarity. Insert the holder into the flashlight with the positive (+) end of the holder facing towards the flashlight head.
- Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened.

4.2 Charging the Rechargeable Battery
To charge the included rechargeable Lithium-ion battery:
- Remove the rechargeable battery from the flashlight.
- Insert the battery into the provided charger, ensuring correct polarity.
- Connect the USB cable from the charger to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
- The indicator light on the charger will show red when charging and turn green when fully charged.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the charger and remove the battery.

- SOS: International Morse code signal for emergencies.

- To adjust the beam, gently slide the head of the flashlight forward (out) for a focused spotlight or backward (in) for a wider floodlight.
