4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Automatic Recording
Once powered on and paired with your smartphone, the Nexar Beam Dash Cam will automatically begin recording when your vehicle starts. The Nexar Classic app runs in the background, allowing you to use other navigation apps without interruption.
4.2 Parking Mode
The 24H Parking Mode protects your car when you're away. The dash cam detects impacts while parked, instantly starts recording, and alerts you via the app as soon as your phone reconnects to the dash cam.

5. Maintenance
5.1 SD Card Management
The dash cam records continuously, overwriting the oldest footage when the SD card is full. Important incident clips are automatically locked and saved to the cloud, preventing them from being overwritten. Regularly check the SD card for proper function and consider formatting it periodically via the app settings to maintain optimal performance.
5.2 Cleaning
Gently wipe the camera lens and the dash cam body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the device.
6. Troubleshooting
- Dash Cam Not Powering On: Ensure the car charger is properly plugged into the 12V outlet and the charging cable is securely connected to the dash cam. Check your vehicle's 12V outlet for power.
- App Connectivity Issues: Verify your smartphone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled. Ensure the Nexar app has the necessary permissions. Try restarting both the dash cam and your smartphone.
- Video Quality Concerns: Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from obstructions. Check the mounting position to ensure it's stable and not vibrating.
- Parking Mode Not Activating: Confirm that Parking Mode is enabled in the Nexar app settings. Ensure the dash cam is receiving continuous power even when the vehicle is off (some vehicles cut power to 12V outlets when off).
