This manual provides instructions for the proper installation, use, and care of your Spigen Rugged Armor Case for AirPods Pro (2019). This case is designed to offer durable, shock-proof protection for your AirPods Pro charging case, featuring a robust TPU and PC dual-layer construction and an included carabiner for portability.

Note: This product includes only the protective case and carabiner. AirPods Pro earbuds and charging case are not included.

Setup and Installation

The Spigen Rugged Armor case consists of two separate parts: a bottom section for the main AirPods Pro charging case and a top section for the lid. Follow these steps for proper installation:

1. Prepare the AirPods Pro Case: Ensure your AirPods Pro charging case is clean and free of dust or debris.
2. Install the Bottom Section: Carefully slide the main AirPods Pro charging case into the larger bottom section of the Rugged Armor case. Ensure it fits snugly.
3. Install the Top Section: The top section of the Rugged Armor case is designed for the lid of your AirPods Pro charging case. It includes an adhesive pad on the inside. Remove the protective film from this adhesive pad.
4. Secure the Top Section: Align the top section of the Rugged Armor case with the lid of your AirPods Pro charging case and press firmly to ensure the adhesive creates a secure bond. This adhesive helps prevent the top cover from detaching during use.
5. Attach the Carabiner: If desired, attach the included carabiner to the designated loop on the side of the Rugged Armor case for enhanced portability.

Tip: A snug fit is essential for optimal protection. If you encounter difficulty during installation, ensure proper alignment and apply gentle, even pressure.

Operating Instructions

Once installed, the Spigen Rugged Armor case allows full functionality of your AirPods Pro charging case:

• Access to Charging Port: The case provides an open cutout for the Lightning charging port, allowing easy access for wired charging.
• Wireless Charging: The case is compatible with standard mobile wireless chargers. Place your cased AirPods Pro charging case on a compatible wireless charging pad. Wireless charging performance may vary based on the charger and case thickness. Note: Not compatible with Apple Watch chargers or Apple Watch charging pads.
• Visibility of LED Indicator: The front LED indicator light of your AirPods Pro charging case remains visible through the Spigen case.
• Access to Pairing Button: The pairing button on the back of the AirPods Pro charging case is accessible through the case.
• Carabiner Use: Utilize the included carabiner to securely attach your AirPods Pro case to bags, belt loops, or keys for convenient and secure portability.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and appearance of your Spigen Rugged Armor case, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Wipe the case regularly with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by wiping with a clean, damp cloth and air drying.
• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the material and finish of the case.
• Storage: When not in use, store the case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Adhesive Longevity: The adhesive on the top cover is designed for long-term use. Avoid frequently removing and reattaching the top cover to maintain its strong bond.

Troubleshooting

Issue: The top cover feels loose or detaches easily.

Solution: Ensure the adhesive pad on the inside of the top cover was properly applied to the AirPods Pro charging case lid. If the adhesive has lost its tackiness over time, you may consider using a new adhesive strip designed for similar applications, or contact customer support for assistance.

Issue: The bottom section of the case slides down slightly.

Solution: The bottom section is designed to fit snugly without adhesive. If it slides, gently push it back into place. This movement is typically minimal and does not affect protection.

Issue: Wireless charging is not working.

Solution: Ensure your wireless charger is compatible with AirPods Pro and is functioning correctly. Reposition the AirPods Pro case on the charging pad. Note that wireless charging performance can vary with case thickness and charger type. Confirm you are not using an Apple Watch charger, as these are not compatible.
