Setup

  1. Battery Installation: If batteries are not pre-installed, open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment securely.
  2. Placement: Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid carpets, rugs, or uneven flooring, as this can affect measurement accuracy.
  3. Initial Calibration: For first-time use or after moving the scale, gently tap the center of the scale with your foot to activate it. Wait for the display to show "0.0" or "0.00" before stepping on. This ensures proper calibration.

Operating Instructions

The Taylor Digital Bathroom Scale features instant-on auto-zero technology for quick and easy measurements.

  1. Taking a Measurement: Step directly onto the scale with bare, dry feet. The scale will automatically turn on and display your weight. Remain still until the weight reading stabilizes and flashes, indicating the final measurement.
  2. Display: The oversized 2.9" x 2.0" LCD display provides a clear and easy-to-read weight measurement.

Unit Conversion

To switch between measurement units (pounds (lb), kilograms (kg), or stones (st)), locate the unit switch on the underside of the scale. Press the button to toggle between the available units until your desired unit is displayed.
