Setup

Before first use, clean all parts that will come into contact with food. Ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, flat, and dry surface.

  2. Wash the mixing chamber, kneading paddle, pasta dies, ravioli mold, and measuring cups with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.

Operation

The Klarstein Pastamania simplifies pasta making with its automatic kneading and extrusion functions. Follow these steps for optimal results:

Making Pasta

  1. Ensure the appliance is properly assembled and the desired pasta die is in place.
  2. Using the provided flour measuring cup, add the desired amount of flour (up to 500g) into the mixing chamber. Close the lid.
  3. Plug in the appliance. The LED display will light up.
  4. Press the 'Manual' button or select the desired number of cups (1, 2, or 3) on the LED display. The machine will begin the kneading process.
  5. While the machine is kneading, slowly pour the corresponding amount of water (as per your recipe or the machine's recommendation) through the small opening in the lid. Do not pour all the water at once.
  6. The machine will knead the dough for approximately 3 minutes. Once kneading is complete, it will automatically switch to the extrusion phase.
  7. As the pasta extrudes, use the included dough cutter to cut the pasta to your desired length.
  8. Collect the fresh pasta and cook immediately or store as desired.
  9. After all pasta has been extruded, turn off the appliance and unplug it.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygienic operation of your pasta maker. All removable plastic parts are suitable for food processing and are easy to clean.

  1. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
  2. Disassemble the mixing chamber, kneading paddle, and pasta dies.
  3. Allow any remaining dough to dry slightly on the parts. This makes it easier to remove.
