1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Anlapus 8-channel 4K Hybrid Digital Video Recorder (DVR). 3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Hard Drive Installation (Optional)

The DVR does not include a pre-installed hard drive. A SATA hard drive (up to 8TB) is required for video recording. Follow these steps to install a hard drive:

1. Unplug the DVR from the power source.
2. Remove the top cover of the DVR by unscrewing the screws on the back and sides.
3. Connect the SATA data cable and power cable from the DVR to the hard drive.
4. Secure the hard drive to the DVR chassis using the provided screws.
5. Replace the top cover and secure it with screws.

3.2 Connecting Peripherals

Refer to the diagram below for connecting cameras, a monitor, network, and power.

1. Connect Cameras: Connect your compatible surveillance cameras (Analog, AHD, TVI, CVI) to the BNC video input ports (VIDEO IN 1-8) on the rear panel.
2. Connect Monitor: Connect a monitor or TV to the DVR using either the HDMI OUT or VGA OUT port. HDMI supports up to 4K resolution output.
3. Connect Mouse: Plug the USB mouse into one of the USB ports on the DVR.
4. Connect Network (Optional): For remote viewing, connect an Ethernet cable from the DVR's NETWORK port to your router.
5. Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the DVR's DC 12V power input and then plug it into a power outlet. The DVR will power on automatically.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Initial Setup Wizard

1. Ensure your DVR is connected to your router via an Ethernet cable.
2. Download the "Anlapus" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

4.5 Data Backup
