3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Hard Drive Installation (Optional)
The DVR does not include a pre-installed hard drive. A SATA hard drive (up to 8TB) is required for video recording. Follow these steps to install a hard drive:
- Unplug the DVR from the power source.
- Remove the top cover of the DVR by unscrewing the screws on the back and sides.
- Connect the SATA data cable and power cable from the DVR to the hard drive.
- Secure the hard drive to the DVR chassis using the provided screws.
- Replace the top cover and secure it with screws.
3.2 Connecting Peripherals

- Connect Mouse: Plug the USB mouse into one of the USB ports on the DVR.
