1. Introduction

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Hard Drive Installation (Optional)

The DVR does not include a pre-installed hard drive. A SATA hard drive (up to 8TB) is required for video recording. Follow these steps to install a hard drive:

  1. Unplug the DVR from the power source.
  2. Remove the top cover of the DVR by unscrewing the screws on the back and sides.
  3. Connect the SATA data cable and power cable from the DVR to the hard drive.
  4. Secure the hard drive to the DVR chassis using the provided screws.
  5. Replace the top cover and secure it with screws.

3.2 Connecting Peripherals

  1. Connect Cameras: Connect your compatible surveillance cameras (Analog, AHD, TVI, CVI) to the BNC video input ports (VIDEO IN 1-8) on the rear panel.
  2. Connect Monitor: Connect a monitor or TV to the DVR using either the HDMI OUT or VGA OUT port. HDMI supports up to 4K resolution output.
  3. Connect Mouse: Plug the USB mouse into one of the USB ports on the DVR.
