1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Sanitas SLB 40 Ultrasonic Humidifier. This device is designed to improve the air quality in your home or office by adding moisture to the air and can also be used with aromatic oils for a pleasant fragrance. Please read this manual carefully before first use and keep it for future reference. Proper use and maintenance will ensure long-lasting performance and safety.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the humidifier from its packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport. Check all components for any signs of damage.

4.2 Placement

Place the humidifier on a flat, stable, and waterproof surface. Ensure it is at least 15 cm away from walls and furniture to allow for proper mist dispersion. Avoid placing it directly on wooden furniture or near heat sources.

4.3 Filling the Water Tank

  1. Ensure the humidifier is unplugged.
  2. Carefully lift the water tank from the base unit.
  3. Unscrew the cap at the bottom of the water tank.
  4. Fill the tank with clean, cool tap water. Do not exceed the maximum fill line. Using distilled or demineralized water is recommended to reduce mineral residue.
  5. Securely screw the cap back onto the water tank.
  6. Place the filled water tank back onto the base unit, ensuring it is seated correctly.

5. Operation

5.1 Powering On and Adjusting Mist Output

  1. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
  2. Turn the control knob clockwise to switch on the humidifier. The indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Continue turning the control knob clockwise to increase the mist output. Turn it counter-clockwise to decrease the mist output.
  4. To turn off the humidifier, turn the control knob counter-clockwise until it clicks into the 'OFF' position.

5.2 Using the Aroma Function

  1. Locate the aroma box on the base unit.
  2. Pull out the aroma box tray.
  3. Add a few drops of your preferred essential oil onto the aroma pad inside the tray. Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank.
  4. Slide the aroma box tray back into its slot.
  5. The aroma will be diffused with the mist during operation.

Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and hygiene.
