Setup
1. Unboxing and Package Contents
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items listed below are present:

2. Connecting the Monitor
Follow these steps to connect your GAOMON PD2200 to your computer:
- Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the monitor's power port and then plug it into a power outlet.
- HDMI Connection: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the monitor and the other end to the HDMI port on your computer.
- USB Connection: Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB port on the monitor and the other end to a USB port on your computer. This connection is necessary for pen input functionality.


3. Driver Installation
Before using the pen display, you must install the latest drivers from the official GAOMON website. Ensure any existing tablet drivers are uninstalled before installing new ones to prevent conflicts.
4. Adjusting the Stand
The PD2200 comes with a multi-angle adjustable stand. You can adjust the stand to various angles from 15° to 85° to find a comfortable working position.

Operating Instructions
1. Using the AP32 Digital Pen
The AP32 is a battery-free pen with 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity and ±60° tilt recognition, providing a natural drawing experience. It features two customizable express keys.


2. Customizable Touch Keys
The PD2200 features 8 customizable touch keys on the side of the display. These keys can be programmed to perform various functions or shortcuts within your creative software, enhancing workflow efficiency.
3. OSD Menu Operation
The On-Screen Display (OSD) menu allows you to adjust various display settings such as brightness, contrast, and color. The OSD keys are located on the side of the monitor.
- Turn On/Off: Long press the power key for 3 seconds.
- Enable OSD Keys: If the OSD keys are locked, long press the MENU button for 6 seconds until "CLEAR KEY LOCK" appears on the screen.
- Manually Exit Menu: Touch the "Auto" key for 0.5 seconds.
- Automatically Exit Menu: The menu will automatically exit if there is no movement for 10 seconds.
- OSD Key Sleep Mode: If no OSD keys are touched for more than 15 seconds after the menu is hidden, the keys will enter sleep mode.
- Adjust Color: Go to RGB-Color > Color Effect > Enter "USER" to adjust hue and saturation of RGBCYM.

4. Software Compatibility
The GAOMON PD2200 is compatible with a wide range of operating systems and creative software:
- Operating Systems: Windows 7 or later, macOS 10.12 or later.
- Software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Clip Studio, Lightroom, Sketchbook Pro, Manga Studio, CorelPainter, FireAlpaca, OpenCanvas, Paint Tool Sai2, Krita, and more.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Screen
To clean the screen, use a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the anti-glare film.
2. Replacing Pen Nibs
When the pen nib becomes worn, replace it with a new one from the included replacement nibs. Use the nib clip tool (often integrated into the pen holder) to gently pull out the old nib and insert a new one.
3. General Care
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Do not place heavy objects on the monitor.
- Keep the device away from liquids and dust.
- Store the digital pen in its holder when not in use to prevent damage.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
- No Display/Signal:
- Ensure all cables (HDMI, USB, Power) are securely connected.
- Verify that your computer's display settings are configured to extend or duplicate the display to the PD2200.
- Try connecting the monitor to a different HDMI port on your computer or a different computer to rule out port issues.
- Pen Not Working/No Pressure Sensitivity:
- Ensure the USB cable is properly connected.
- Reinstall the latest GAOMON drivers from the official website. Make sure to uninstall any previous tablet drivers first.
- Check if the pen nib is properly inserted. Replace if worn.
- Test the pen in the GAOMON driver settings to check pressure and button functionality.
- Cursor Offset/Parallax:
- Perform screen calibration through the GAOMON driver software.
- Ensure your display resolution is set to the recommended 1920x1080.
- OSD Keys Locked:
- Long press the MENU button for 6 seconds until "CLEAR KEY LOCK" appears.
