4. Operating Instructions
- Priming the Pump: Before turning on the power, squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to allow water to flow through the system and expel any air. Continue until a steady stream of water emerges.
- Starting the Unit: Turn the power switch to the "ON" position. The motor will start when the spray gun trigger is squeezed and stop when released (Total Stop System).
- Nozzle Selection: Choose the appropriate quick-connect nozzle for your cleaning task.
- 0° (Red) Nozzle: For pinpoint cleaning and hard-to-reach areas. Use with extreme caution as it delivers the highest pressure.
- 15° (Yellow) Nozzle: For intense cleaning of smaller areas, such as removing stubborn dirt from concrete or siding.
- 40° (Grey) Nozzle: For gentle cleaning of large areas, such as cars, boats, patio furniture, or siding.
To change nozzles, pull back the collar on the spray gun, insert the desired nozzle, and release the collar to lock it in place. Always ensure the unit is off and the trigger is released before changing nozzles.
- Using the Foam Cannon:
- Fill the onboard 1-liter foam cannon with pressure washer-safe detergent.
- Attach the foam cannon to the spray gun.
- The foam cannon will dispense detergent when the trigger is squeezed.
- After applying detergent, remove the foam cannon and reattach a cleaning nozzle to rinse the surface.
- Cleaning Technique:
- Always test the spray on an inconspicuous area first to avoid damage.
- Hold the spray gun at a consistent distance from the surface, typically 6-12 inches, depending on the nozzle and desired intensity.
- Use smooth, overlapping strokes to ensure even cleaning.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your pressure washer.
- After Each Use:
- Turn off the power and water supply.
- Squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure.
- Disconnect the garden hose and high-pressure hose.
- Drain all water from the pump, hoses, and accessories to prevent freezing damage.
- Clean the nozzles and foam cannon thoroughly. The unit includes a needle clean-out tool for nozzles.
- Storage: Store the pressure washer in a dry, frost-free environment. Ensure all hoses and accessories are neatly stored. The unit has integrated storage for the hose and nozzles.
