7. Operating Instructions

  1. Ensure all connections are secure and there are no leaks.
  2. Open a faucet in your RV to allow air to escape the system.
  3. Turn on the 12V DC power supply to the pump. The pump will begin to run, priming itself and building pressure.
  4. Once water flows steadily from the faucet and all air is purged, close the faucet. The pump will shut off automatically when the system reaches its shutoff pressure (55 PSI).
  5. The pump will automatically restart when the system pressure drops (e.g., when a faucet is opened) to maintain consistent water flow.

8. Maintenance

8.1 Filter Cleaning

  • Regularly inspect and clean the universal filter to prevent debris from entering the pump.
  • To clean, disconnect power, unscrew the filter housing, remove the mesh screen, rinse it thoroughly with clean water, and reassemble.

8.2 Winterization

  • Before freezing temperatures, drain all water from the pump and plumbing system to prevent damage.
  • Consider using RV antifreeze according to your RV manufacturer's guidelines.
