Setup

  1. Unboxing: Carefully remove the trash can from its packaging. Inspect for any damage.
  2. Placement: Position the trash can in your desired location. Its rectangular design allows it to sit flush against a wall or cabinet. Ensure there is enough space for the lid to open fully if using the 'Stay Open' feature.
  3. Insert Inner Buckets: Place the two removable inner buckets into their respective compartments inside the main unit. The buckets are color-coded for easy identification (e.g., black for waste, green for recycling).
  4. Install Trash Bags: Line each inner bucket with an appropriate size trash bag. Utilize the bag stabilizer feature (a small hole or hook inside the bucket) to secure the bag and prevent it from slipping down or creating unsightly overhang.
  5. Optional Deodorizer: If desired, insert a deodorizer or odor filter into the designated compartment located on the underside of the lid.

Operating Instructions

  • Opening the Lid (Foot Pedal): Gently press down on the corresponding foot pedal (left for waste, right for recycling) to open the lid of the desired compartment. The lid will open smoothly.
  • Soft Close Function: Release the foot pedal, and the lid will slowly and silently close on its own, preventing slamming.
  • Stay Open Feature: For longer tasks or when frequently disposing of items, manually lift the lid until it reaches a 90-degree angle. A small latch or mechanism will engage, holding the lid open. To close, gently push the lid down to disengage the latch, and it will soft-close.
  • Removing Inner Buckets: To empty or clean, simply lift the inner bucket directly out of the main unit using its integrated handle.
  • Replacing Inner Buckets: After emptying or cleaning, place the inner bucket back into its compartment, ensuring it is seated properly.

  • Inner Bucket Cleaning: The removable inner buckets can be washed with soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before placing them back into the main unit.
  • Deodorizer Compartment: Replace the deodorizer or odor filter in the built-in compartment as needed to maintain freshness.
  • Pedal Mechanism: Periodically check the foot pedal mechanism for any debris or obstructions. Keep it clean to ensure smooth operation.
