3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
Ensure the power switches on both the car and the remote controller are in the OFF position before installing batteries.
- For the RC Car: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the car. Open the battery cover. Insert 3 x 'AA' 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery cover securely.
- For the Remote Controller: Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote controller. Open the battery cover. Insert 2 x 'AA' 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery cover securely.

3.2 Pairing the Remote Controller
The car and remote controller are typically pre-paired. If they do not connect automatically:
- Turn on the RC car using the switch on its underside.
- Turn on the remote controller.
- The indicator light on the remote should stop flashing and remain solid, indicating a successful connection. If not, turn both off and repeat the steps. Ensure fresh batteries are used.
4. Operating Instructions
Once batteries are installed and the car is paired with the remote controller, you are ready to operate your RC car.
- Forward/Reverse: Use the joystick or button on the remote to move the car forward or backward.
