2. Safety Instructions
- Electrical Safety: Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical codes. Ensure the power supply is disconnected before installation or maintenance.
- Power Supply: This lamp operates on 10-20V DC and requires a suitable DC LED safety converter (not included). Do not connect directly to mains voltage (230V AC).
- Environment: This product has an IP20 rating, meaning it is protected against solid objects larger than 12.5mm but has no protection against water. Do not install in wet or damp locations.
- Heat: Ensure adequate ventilation around the lamp to prevent overheating.
- Lamp Replacement: Only replace the G4 LED lamp with a compatible 10-20V DC G4 LED lamp.
- Damage: Do not use the lamp if any part is damaged. Contact customer support for assistance.
3. Package Contents

Note: A DC LED safety converter is required for operation and is not included in the package.
4. Installation Instructions
Follow these steps for proper installation of your recessed LED lamp:
4.1 Prepare the Installation Area
- Disconnect Power: Ensure the main power supply to the installation area is switched off at the circuit breaker.
- Drill Hole: Using a suitable hole saw, drill a circular opening with a diameter of 58 mm in the desired mounting surface. Ensure there is sufficient clearance behind the surface for the lamp body (minimum installation depth 19 mm).
4.2 Wiring the Lamp
The lamp comes with a 1.8m power cable terminated with a mini-plug. This plug connects to a compatible DC LED safety converter (not supplied). The converter must provide 10-20V DC output.

- Connect to Converter: Connect the mini-plug of the lamp's power cable to the output of your DC LED safety converter. Ensure polarity is correct if the converter requires it.
- Converter Installation: Install the DC LED safety converter according to its own instructions, ensuring it is in a dry, well-ventilated area.
4.3 Mounting the Lamp

- Insert Lamp: Gently push the lamp body into the drilled 58 mm hole. The spring-loaded mounting clips on the sides of the lamp will secure it in place.
- Final Check: Ensure the lamp is flush with the mounting surface and securely held.
- Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker. The lamp should illuminate.
5. Operating Instructions
The Rolux DF-9251B-2 Recessed LED Lamp is designed for simple operation.
- Power On/Off: The lamp is controlled by the switch connected to the DC LED safety converter's input (mains side). Switching this power source on or off will turn the lamp on or off.
- Non-Dimmable: This specific model is not dimmable. Do not connect it to a dimmer switch unless the DC LED safety converter explicitly supports dimming and is compatible with this lamp.
6. Maintenance
The Rolux DF-9251B-2 LED lamp requires minimal maintenance.
- Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe the lamp's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- G4 LED Lamp Replacement: The G4 LED lamp inside the fixture is replaceable. To replace, carefully remove the glass cover, then gently pull out the G4 LED bulb. Insert a new, compatible 10-20V DC G4 LED bulb and reattach the glass cover. Ensure power is disconnected during this process.

7. Troubleshooting
