7. Operating Instructions
7.1 Bluetooth Connectivity
- Turn on the BTA 660 speaker.
- Press the "Mode" button until "Bluetooth" mode is selected. The Bluetooth indicator LED will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your smartphone, tablet, or laptop, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "AHUJA BTA 660" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator LED will stop flashing and remain solid. You can now stream audio wirelessly. The Bluetooth range is approximately 10 meters.
7.2 USB Playback and Recording
- Insert a USB flash drive (formatted to FAT32) containing MP3 audio files into the USB port.
- Press the "Mode" button to select "USB" mode. The speaker will automatically begin playing MP3 files.
- Use the playback controls (Play/Pause, Next/Previous Track) on the speaker or remote control.
- To Record: In USB mode, press the "Record" button. All audio inputs (microphones, AUX, Bluetooth) will be recorded onto the USB drive. Press "Record" again to stop.
7.3 Microphone Usage (Wireless & Wired)
- Wireless Microphones: Ensure the wireless microphones are powered on and have fresh batteries. They should automatically connect to the speaker. Adjust their individual volume controls on the speaker.
- Wired Microphones: Connect wired microphones to the 1/4" MIC Input jacks. Adjust their volume using the dedicated MIC volume knob.
- Digital Echo: Use the "Echo" knob to add a reverberation effect to the microphone audio.
- Mic Priority: The BTA 660 features a switchable priority function for Mic-1. When activated, audio from Mic-1 will automatically lower the volume of other audio sources (Bluetooth, USB, AUX) when spoken into.
7.4 AUX Input
Connect an external audio device (e.g., CD player, laptop) to the AUX input jacks using an appropriate audio cable. Press the "Mode" button to select "AUX" mode. Adjust the volume on both the speaker and the connected device.
7.5 Trolley Handle
Extend the integrated trolley handle for easy transportation of the speaker. Retract it when not in use.
8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the speaker's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
