Operating Instructions
The Saphe One+ is designed for simple, intuitive operation while driving.
Automatic Start-Up
Once paired, the device automatically activates when it detects vehicle movement, provided your smartphone's Bluetooth is on and the Saphe Link app is running in the background. You do not need to manually turn the device on or off for each journey.
Receiving Warnings
The Saphe One+ provides audible signals and light indications to warn you of upcoming traffic incidents. These warnings include:
- Speed Cameras: Alerts for fixed, mobile, average speed, and red light cameras.
- Accidents: Warnings about reported accidents ahead.
- Hazards: Notifications for other road dangers or obstacles.
SmartAlarm Feature
The "SmartAlarm" feature is useful in areas with frequent speed cameras. When enabled, if you are driving below the speed limit when approaching a speed camera, the device will emit a single beep instead of a full siren, reducing unnecessary alerts. If you exceed the speed limit, the standard siren warning will activate.
Reporting Incidents
The device features two colored buttons for reporting traffic incidents to the Saphe network:
- Blue Button: Typically used to report speed checks or mobile speed cameras.
- Red Button: Typically used to report accidents or other road hazards.
Press the relevant button as you pass an incident to share the information with other Saphe users. The device will confirm your report with a signal.

European Usage
The device functions throughout Europe, utilizing a database of over 100,000 speed cameras in 97 countries. Please note a specific regional usage policy:
- If purchased in the UK, the device works for 30 days throughout Europe.
- After 30 days, it must be used for a short period in the UK (the country of purchase) before it can function throughout Europe again.

Battery Replacement
The Saphe One+ is powered by a single C battery (included). The built-in battery is designed to last approximately 2 years under normal usage conditions. When the battery needs replacement, refer to the manufacturer's instructions or website for guidance on how to safely replace it.
Cleaning
To clean your Saphe One+ device, gently wipe it with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the device.
