3. Setup

3.1. Charging the Device

The idoooz U2 MP3 player features a direct USB plug-in design for convenient charging. Simply remove the protective cap and plug the player directly into any standard USB port on a computer, laptop, or a 5V USB power adapter. The device will begin charging automatically. A full charge provides up to 10 hours of playback at medium volume.

3.2. Transferring Music and Files

To transfer music or other files to your idoooz U2, plug the device directly into a USB port on your computer. The player will be recognized as a removable disk drive. You can then drag and drop your MP3 or WMA files directly into the player's internal storage. The device has 8GB of internal memory. For additional storage, insert a Micro SD card (up to 32GB) into the dedicated slot. The player will automatically detect the Micro SD card, allowing you to transfer files to it as well.

Note for Mac Users: If you are using a MacBook, you may need to download music to your computer first before transferring it to the player. Music downloaded via iTunes cannot be directly transferred to the player.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Basic Controls

The idoooz U2 features an intuitive control layout:

• Power On/Off: Press and hold the Play/Pause button.
• Play/Pause: Press the central Play/Pause button.
• Volume Up/Down: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the control ring.
• Next/Previous Track: Use the forward (►►) and backward (◄◄) buttons on the control ring.
• Menu/Mode: Short press the 'M' button on the side to access settings or switch modes.

4.2. Music Playback

The player supports WMA and MP3 music formats. Navigate to the 'Music' option from the main menu. You can browse by folder or play all songs. Playback modes include normal, shuffle, single song repeat, and folder song repeat. The device also supports 7 equalizer presets and variable speed music playback.

To activate Shuffle mode: While a song is playing or paused, short press the 'M' button on the side of the player. This will enter the playback settings page. Select the 'repeat' option and choose 'Shuffle play'.

4.3. FM Radio

To use the FM radio function, ensure your earphones are plugged in as they act as the antenna. Navigate to the 'FM Radio' option from the main menu. You can auto-scan for stations or manually tune to your desired frequency.

4.4. Voice Recorder

The idoooz U2 features a one-touch recording function. Navigate to the 'Record' option from the main menu to start recording. This feature is useful for capturing notes, lectures, or personal memos.

5.1. Battery Care

To maximize battery life, avoid fully discharging the player frequently. Charge the device regularly, especially if it will not be used for an extended period. Store the player in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.

5.2. Cleaning

Wipe the player with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the device. Ensure no moisture enters the USB port or headphone jack.

6.1. Device Not Turning On

• Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the player to a USB power source for at least 30 minutes.
• Press and hold the Power/Play button for several seconds to ensure it's not just in standby mode.

6.2. Cannot Transfer Files

• Verify the player is properly connected to the computer's USB port.
• Ensure the player is recognized as a removable disk drive on your computer.
• Check available storage space on the player or Micro SD card.
• For Mac users, ensure music files are downloaded to your computer before transferring.

6.3. No Sound from Earphones

• Ensure earphones are fully plugged into the 3.5mm audio jack.
• Check the volume level on the player.
• Test with a different pair of earphones to rule out faulty earphones.
• Ensure the audio file format is supported (MP3, WMA).
