4. Assembly

4.1 Attaching the Engine to the Base

5. Setup

5.1 Fuel Mixing

Your 52cc engine requires a 2-cycle fuel mix. Mix unleaded gasoline with 2-stroke engine oil at a ratio of 50:1 (2.6 oz oil per 1 gallon of gasoline). Shake well before pouring into the fuel tank.

5.2 Starting Procedure

1. Fill the fuel tank with the correctly mixed fuel.
2. Press the primer bulb 7-10 times until fuel is visible in the return line.
3. Move the choke lever to the 'Choke' position.
4. Place the unit on a flat, stable surface. Hold the body of the product firmly with one hand.
5. Pull the starter rope handle slowly until you feel resistance, then pull quickly and with force 1-4 times until the engine 'pops' or tries to start.
6. Move the choke lever to the 'Run' position.
7. Pull the starter rope handle again until the engine starts completely.
8. Allow the engine to warm up for approximately 60 seconds before operating.
