Setup

Battery Installation

The ThermoPro TP01H thermometer requires batteries for operation. Ensure batteries are correctly inserted according to the polarity markings in the battery compartment. The thermometer typically comes with batteries included.

Initial Use

Before first use, remove any protective films from the display. Clean the probe tip with a damp cloth and mild soap. The thermometer is ready for use once batteries are installed.

Operating Instructions

Taking Temperature

  1. Insert the stainless steel probe into the thickest part of the food, avoiding bone or gristle.
  2. The temperature reading will appear on the digital display within 4-6 seconds.
  3. For accurate readings, ensure the probe tip is fully immersed in the food.

Lock Function

Press the 'LOCK' button to hold the current temperature reading on the display. This allows you to remove the probe from the food and read the temperature safely. Press 'LOCK' again to unlock and resume live temperature measurement.

Temperature Unit Switch (°C/°F)

Press the '°C/°F' button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units according to your preference.

Backlight

Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Always clean the stainless steel probe after each use with a damp cloth and mild soap.
  • Do not immerse the entire thermometer in water or place it in a dishwasher, as this can damage the electronic components.
  • Wipe the body of the thermometer with a damp cloth.

Storage

Store the thermometer in a dry place when not in use. Utilize the magnetic back to attach it to a refrigerator or other metal surface, or hang it using the integrated hang hole. Ensure the protective cap is placed over the probe tip to prevent damage.
