4. Product Components

Familiarize yourself with the main parts of your doorbell system:

5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Installing the Push Button Transmitter

1. Choose a Location: Select a flat, vertical surface near your door, out of direct sunlight and heavy rain if possible.
2. Mounting with Screws:
   • Open the back cover of the push button unit.
   • Mark the screw holes on the wall.
   • Drill pilot holes (if necessary) and insert wall anchors.
   • Secure the back cover to the wall using the provided screws.
   • Snap the front part of the push button onto the secured back cover.
3. Mounting with Adhesive Tape:
   • Clean the mounting surface thoroughly to ensure it is dry and free of dust.
   • Peel off one side of the adhesive tape and attach it to the back of the push button unit.
   • Peel off the other side of the tape and firmly press the unit onto the desired location for at least 30 seconds.

5.2 Installing the Chime Unit Receiver

• Plug the chime unit into a standard electrical outlet in a central location within your home, ensuring it is within range of the push button transmitter.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Pairing the Transmitter and Receiver

Your doorbell units are usually pre-paired from the factory. If they are not, or if you add new components, follow these steps:

1. Plug in the chime unit.
2. Press and hold the Volume Button on the chime unit for approximately 5 seconds until you hear a "ding-dong" sound and the LED indicator flashes. This indicates pairing mode.
3. Immediately press the Push Button on the transmitter. The chime unit will ring, confirming successful pairing.
4. If pairing multiple transmitters, repeat step 2 and 3 for each additional transmitter.

6.2 Changing Chime Melodies

• Press the Chime Selection Button on the chime unit repeatedly to cycle through the available melodies.
• Once you hear your desired melody, stop pressing the button. The selected melody will be saved.

6.3 Adjusting Volume

• Press the Volume Button on the chime unit to cycle through the different volume levels (e.g., High, Medium, Low, Mute).

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Replacement (for Push Button): When the push button's LED indicator no longer lights up or the range decreases significantly, it's time to replace the battery. Refer to the specific battery type indicated on the unit (e.g., CR2032).
• Range Check: Periodically check the doorbell's range, especially after moving the chime unit or if new obstacles are introduced.
