1. Important Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before installing or operating your INTERGREAT gun safe. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or property damage.

  • Always store firearms unloaded and locked.

  • Keep emergency keys in a secure location away from the safe and out of reach of children.
  • Do not store the emergency keys inside the safe.
  • Regularly check the battery level of the digital keypad.
  • Do not use mismatched battery brands or lithium batteries in the keypad.

3. Setup

3.1 Assembly

The safe requires minimal assembly. Follow the detailed instructions provided in the included assembly manual. Ensure all panels are correctly aligned and screws are tightened securely.

3.2 Battery Installation

The digital keypad requires 4 AA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the inside of the door and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.

3.3 Mounting the Safe

For optimal security, it is highly recommended to mount the safe to a wall or floor using the provided mounting bolts.

  1. Measure the location of the pre-set drill holes on the back of the safe and mark their exact position on the wall or floor.
  2. Drill appropriate size holes for the anchors. Carefully press the anchors into the holes.
  3. Mount the safe by running screws from inside the safe and securing them to the anchors to ensure the safe is mounted securely.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 First-Time Opening

  1. Remove the keyhole cover to expose the emergency keyhole.
  2. Fully insert your key into the keyhole and turn it counter-clockwise to the limit.
  3. Rotate the knob clockwise to open the door.

4.2 Setting the First Password

  1. With the door open, press the reset button located on the inside of the door.
  2. Enter your desired 3-8 digit password on the digital keypad.
  3. Success is indicated by a long "beep" sound and the yellow indicator light going out.

4.3 Opening with Digital Keypad

Enter your programmed password on the digital keypad. If correct, the green light will illuminate. Rotate the knob clockwise to open the door.

4.4 Emergency Key Access

In case of battery failure or forgotten password, use the emergency keys as described in "First-Time Opening" (Section 4.1).

4.5 External Power Supply

If the internal batteries are depleted and you do not have the emergency key, you can use the external battery box. Connect the external battery box to the port on the keypad, enter your password, and open the safe.

4.6 Mute System

To mute the keypad sounds, press and hold the number '1' key for 3 seconds. The green light will remain on for a long time, the buzzer will sound for a long time, and the mute system will be turned off. Repeat the process to unmute.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace all 4 AA batteries when the low battery indicator appears or if the keypad becomes unresponsive. Ensure to use new, non-lithium batteries of the same brand.
  • Lock Mechanism: Periodically check the locking bolts and hinges for smooth operation. Do not lubricate the digital keypad mechanism.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Keypad not responding: Check and replace batteries. Use the external battery box or emergency key.
  • Alarm sounds: If the password is not correct three times, the buzzer will sound "tick" three times. If the password is not correct five consecutive times, the alarm will automatically sound for one minute, and the keypad will be locked for 5 minutes. Enter the correct code to neutralize the alarm.
  • Door not opening: Ensure the correct password or key is used. Check for any obstructions.
