6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Power On/Off and Volume Adjustment
- To power on, press and hold the Power/Volume knob until the display lights up.
- To power off, press and hold the Power/Volume knob again.
- Rotate the Power/Volume knob to adjust the audio level.
6.2. Channel/Frequency Selection
- VFO Mode (Frequency Mode): Press the V/M key to enter VFO mode. Rotate the Power/Volume knob or use the Up/Down keys on the microphone to change the frequency.
- Memory Mode (Channel Mode): Press the V/M key to enter Memory mode. Rotate the Power/Volume knob or use the Up/Down keys on the microphone to select a stored channel.
6.3. Transmitting and Receiving

9. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No power | Loose power connection, blown fuse, power supply issue. | Check power cable, replace fuse, verify power source. |
| Cannot transmit | PTT not pressed, incorrect frequency/channel, antenna issue. | Ensure PTT is pressed, verify frequency/channel, check antenna connection. |
| Cannot receive | Squelch too high, incorrect frequency/channel, CTCSS/DCS mismatch. | Lower squelch, verify frequency/channel, check CTCSS/DCS settings. |
| Poor audio quality | Low microphone gain, high squelch, interference. | Adjust microphone gain, lower squelch, check for interference sources. |
