4. Setup

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Hair Preparation

1. Ensure your hair is completely dry before using the flat iron.

3. Detangle your hair thoroughly with a comb or brush.

5.2 Temperature Selection

Choose the appropriate temperature setting based on your hair type:

• 285-345℉: For fine, thin, or damaged hair.
• 345-390℉: For normal or medium hair.
• 390-450℉: For thick, coarse, or wavy hair.

Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the temperature. The LED display will show the current setting.

5.3 Sectioning Hair

For best results, divide your hair into manageable sections. Start with the bottom layers and work your way up. Use hair clips to secure the upper sections out of the way.

5.4 Straightening Hair

1. Take a small section of hair (about 1-2 inches wide).
2. Place the flat iron near the roots of the section, ensuring not to touch the scalp directly.
3. Gently clamp the plates together and glide the iron slowly and steadily down the hair shaft to the ends. Avoid stopping in one place to prevent kinks or heat damage.
4. Repeat on the same section if necessary, but typically one slow pass is sufficient with ceramic plates.
5. Continue this process for all sections of your hair.

5.5 Curling Hair

1. Take a small section of hair.
2. Open the flat iron and place the hair section between the plates near the roots.
3. Close the plates and rotate the iron 180 degrees away from your face.
4. Slowly glide the iron down the hair shaft, maintaining the rotation. The hair will wrap around the barrel of the iron, creating a curl.
5. Release the hair from the plates and allow the curl to cool before touching it to set the style.
6. Repeat for all sections.
