Setup
1. Charging the Intercom Units
Each intercom unit is equipped with a rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery (DC 3.7V 1000mAh). For optimal performance, fully charge all units before first use.
- Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the intercom unit.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a power adapter, computer USB port, or mobile power bank.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
- The indicator light on the unit will show charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 5 hours.
- Once fully charged, the unit can operate for up to 24 hours (average battery life is 2 days in standby mode).

2. Powering On/Off
To power on or off the intercom unit, press and hold the ON/OFF button (located on the side or front panel) for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible confirmation.

Operating Instructions
1. Basic Controls
Familiarize yourself with the main controls of your ChunHee intercom unit:
- PTT Button (Push-to-Talk): The large round button on the front, and a smaller one on the side. Press and hold to transmit your voice. Release to listen.
- CH+ / CH- Buttons: Used to change the communication channel. The system supports 16 channels.
- VOL+ / VOL- Buttons: Used to adjust the receiving volume (8 levels). Note: The broadcast voice volume (e.g., "Volume 2") cannot be changed.
- ON/OFF Button: Press and hold for 3 seconds to power the unit on or off.

2. Communication Modes
The intercom system supports both one-to-one and one-to-two communication. For units to communicate, they must be set to the same channel.

3. VOX Function (Voice Operated Exchange)
The VOX function allows for hands-free communication. When activated, the intercom will transmit your voice automatically when it detects sound, without needing to press the PTT button.
- An intercom unit in VOX mode should be stationed on your side to help you speak without pressing and holding the TALK button.
- VOX mode lasts for up to 24 hours.
- VOX mode needs to detect someone within a close speaking range to activate the intercom (say "Hello" to activate the intercom before speaking).
- In VOX mode, you can speak without pressing and holding the TALK button. The other user can press and hold the TALK button to talk to you.

4. Emergency Alarm
The intercom system includes an emergency alarm feature for critical situations. When activated, a loud alarm will sound on both the local and remote intercoms (if they are on the same channel).

5. Keypad Lock
To prevent accidental channel changes, especially by children or during travel, you can activate the keypad lock function. Press the CH+ button for 3 seconds to lock the keypad. This prevents unintended button presses that could change the channel, ensuring continuous communication.

Maintenance
1. Battery Care
- To avoid being startled by low battery voice alerts while sleeping at night, it is recommended that you charge your intercom system regularly or leave it on charge during the night.
- Do not disassemble the battery or throw it into fire.
- Charge the battery in a safe place.
- Do not replace the battery with non-original chargers or batteries. Use the original charger for charging.
