Before proceeding, please verify that all components are present in your package:

Setup

1. Charging the Intercom Units

Each intercom unit is equipped with a rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery (DC 3.7V 1000mAh). For optimal performance, fully charge all units before first use.

  1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the intercom unit.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a power adapter, computer USB port, or mobile power bank.
  3. Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
  4. The indicator light on the unit will show charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 5 hours.
  5. Once fully charged, the unit can operate for up to 24 hours (average battery life is 2 days in standby mode).

2. Powering On/Off

To power on or off the intercom unit, press and hold the ON/OFF button (located on the side or front panel) for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible confirmation.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Controls

Familiarize yourself with the main controls of your ChunHee intercom unit:

2. Communication Modes

The intercom system supports both one-to-one and one-to-two communication. For units to communicate, they must be set to the same channel.

3. VOX Function (Voice Operated Exchange)

The VOX function allows for hands-free communication. When activated, the intercom will transmit your voice automatically when it detects sound, without needing to press the PTT button.

4. Emergency Alarm

The intercom system includes an emergency alarm feature for critical situations. When activated, a loud alarm will sound on both the local and remote intercoms (if they are on the same channel).

5. Keypad Lock

To prevent accidental channel changes, especially by children or during travel, you can activate the keypad lock function. Press the CH+ button for 3 seconds to lock the keypad. This prevents unintended button presses that could change the channel, ensuring continuous communication.

2. Cleaning and Storage

Troubleshooting
