1. Product Overview

The SKIL PWR CORE 12V Compact Tire Inflator (Model IF5943-00) is a portable, battery-powered device designed for inflating various items such as bicycle tires, car tires, and sports balls. 2. Setup

1. Battery Installation: Ensure the inflator is powered off. Align the PWR CORE 12 Lithium battery (sold separately) with the battery slot on the bottom of the inflator. Slide the battery into place until it clicks securely.

2. Accessing Adapters: The inflator includes on-board storage for various adapters. Locate the storage compartment on the side of the unit to access the Presta valve adapter, sports ball needle, and pinch valve adapter.

3. Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Press the power button (U) to turn on the inflator. The digital display will illuminate.
2. Set Desired Pressure: Use the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to adjust the target pressure (PSI). The inflator supports pressures up to 160 PSI.

3. Attach Hose: Connect the inflator hose directly to the item's valve stem. For specialized items, select and attach the appropriate adapter from the on-board storage before connecting the hose.
4. Start Inflation: Press the play/pause button (▶‖) to begin inflation. The inflator will automatically stop once the preset pressure is reached.

5. Power Off: After use, press the power button (U) to turn off the inflator. Disconnect the hose and store the adapters.

4. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Regularly wipe down the exterior of the inflator with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Hose and Adapter Care: Inspect the inflation hose and adapters for any signs of wear or damage before each use. Ensure adapters are securely stored in their designated compartment to prevent loss.
• Battery Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove the battery from the inflator and store it in a cool, dry place.

• Inaccurate Pressure Reading:
  • Ensure the inflator is on a stable surface and the hose is not kinked.
  • Compare the reading with a known accurate pressure gauge if available.
