2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Battery

  1. Ensure the battery pack is clean and dry before charging.
  2. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet.
  3. Slide the battery pack onto the charger until it clicks into place.
  4. Allow the battery to charge fully. The indicator lights on the charger will show the charging status.
  5. Once charged, disconnect the charger from the power outlet and remove the battery.

4.2. Installing/Removing the Battery

  • Installation: Align the battery pack with the base of the tool handle and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.
  • Removal: Press the battery unlocking button (refer to Figure 1) and slide the battery pack out of the tool handle.

4.3. Attaching Accessories

The GALAX PRO CC-20V features a tool-free quick-release system for fast accessory changes.

  1. Ensure the tool is switched OFF and the battery is removed.
  2. Locate the quick release lever on the tool head (refer to Figure 2).
  3. Push the quick release lever to open the accessory clamp.
  4. Align the desired accessory (e.g., saw blade, sanding pad) with the tool holder. Ensure it is seated correctly.
  5. Release the quick release lever to secure the accessory. Gently pull on the accessory to confirm it is firmly attached.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Powering On/Off

  • To Turn On: Slide the ON/OFF switch forward.
  • To Turn Off: Slide the ON/OFF switch backward.

5.2. Adjusting Speed

The tool features a 6-speed adjustable dial to match the oscillation rate (OPM) to the material and application.

  1. Locate the speed adjustable dial (refer to Figure 1).
  2. Rotate the dial to select the desired speed setting from 1 (lowest) to 6 (highest).
  3. The oscillation rate ranges from 5000 to 18000 OPM (Oscillations Per Minute).

5.3. General Operation Tips

  • Always ensure the workpiece is stable and secured.
  • Apply light, consistent pressure. Do not force the tool.
  • Allow the tool to reach full speed before engaging the workpiece.
  • For cutting, use a back-and-forth motion. For sanding, move the tool evenly across the surface.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your tool.

  • Cleaning: After each use, clean the tool housing with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure ventilation openings are free from dust and debris.
  • Accessory Care: Inspect accessories for wear or damage before each use. Replace worn or damaged accessories immediately.
