7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your fog machine.
- Fluid Level: Always ensure there is sufficient fog fluid in the tank during operation. Running the machine dry can cause damage to the pump.
- Cleaning:
- After every 40 hours of continuous operation, or if the fog output seems reduced, it is recommended to clean the machine.
- Empty any remaining fog fluid from the tank.
- Fill the tank with a mixture of 80% distilled water and 20% white vinegar.
- Run the machine in a well-ventilated area until the tank is empty. This helps to clear any residue buildup in the heating element and pump.
- Refill with fresh fog fluid before next use.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, ensure the fluid tank is empty and the machine is clean. Store in a cool, dry place.
- Fuse Replacement: If the machine does not power on, check the fuse located near the power input. Replace with a fuse of the same type and rating if blown. (Refer to specifications for fuse type).
