5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Unscrew the battery case located at the bottom of the pen.
  2. Insert one AAA alkaline battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  3. Screw the battery case back on securely.

5.2 Attaching Suction Cups and Nozzles

  1. Select the appropriate suction cup size (4mm, 6mm, or 10mm) based on the component you intend to handle.
  2. Attach the chosen suction cup firmly to either the curved or straight nozzle.
  3. Securely fit the assembled nozzle with the suction cup onto the pen's tip.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

Press the power button located on the pen to activate the vacuum pump. The device will begin to generate suction. Press the button again to turn off the vacuum.

6.2 Picking Up Components

  1. Ensure the appropriate suction cup is attached and clean.
  2. Gently press the suction cup onto the flat, non-porous surface of the component you wish to pick up.
  3. Activate the vacuum by pressing the power button. The component will be held securely by suction.

6.3 Releasing Components

  1. Carefully position the component over its target location.
  2. Release the power button to deactivate the vacuum, allowing the component to be gently placed.

6.4 ESD Precautions

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

  • Periodically clean the suction cups and nozzles with a soft, dry cloth to remove any dust, debris, or residue.
