  • AC Power: Connect the supplied AC power adapter to the DC IN jack on the unit and then plug it into a standard wall outlet (AC 230V ~ 50Hz).
  • Battery Power: For portable use, insert the required batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit. Ensure correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.

3.3 Antenna Setup

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Press the POWER button to turn the unit on or off.
  • Volume Control: Use the VOL+ and VOL- buttons to adjust the volume level.
  • Mode Selection: Press the FUNCTION button to cycle through available modes: DAB, FM, CD, USB, AUX-IN.

4.2 Radio Operation (DAB/DAB+ and FM)

  • Selecting Radio Mode: Press FUNCTION until DAB or FM mode is selected.
  • Auto Scan (DAB): In DAB mode, press SCAN to automatically scan for available DAB/DAB+ stations. The unit will store them.
  • Manual Tuning (FM): In FM mode, press TUNE+ or TUNE- to manually adjust the frequency. Press and hold for auto-scan to the next strong station.
  • Saving Presets: Tune to your desired station. Press and hold the PROG button, then use PREV/NEXT to select a preset number (1-30). Press PROG again to confirm.
  • Recalling Presets: Press the PROG button briefly, then use PREV/NEXT to select the desired preset.

4.3 CD/MP3 Playback

  • Loading a CD: Open the CD compartment lid and carefully place a CD with the label side facing up. Close the lid securely.
  • Selecting CD Mode: Press FUNCTION until CD mode is selected. The unit will automatically begin playback.
  • Playback Controls: PLAY/PAUSE to start or pause playback. STOP to stop playback. PREV/NEXT to skip tracks. Press and hold PREV/NEXT for fast reverse/forward.
  • Repeat Function: Press RPT to repeat the current track (RPT 1) or all tracks (RPT ALL).

4.4 USB Playback

  • Connecting USB: Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port.
  • Selecting USB Mode: Press FUNCTION until USB mode is selected. Playback will begin automatically.
  • Playback Controls: Use the same playback controls as for CD/MP3 playback.

4.5 AUX-IN Connection

  • Connecting External Device: Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) to the AUX-IN jack using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
  • Selecting AUX-IN Mode: Press FUNCTION until AUX-IN mode is selected.
  • Audio Playback: Control audio playback directly from your connected external device.
