1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the DIGITEN Wireless Thermostat Outlet. This device is designed to automatically control electrical heating or cooling appliances by maintaining a preset target temperature, ensuring comfort and energy efficiency. The WTC200 model features a temperature sensor located in the plug, allowing the remote control and the outlet to be placed in different locations, such as controlling a basement temperature from your living room.

4. Setup

1. Install Batteries in Remote: The remote control requires 2 AAA size batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote and insert the batteries, observing the correct polarity.
2. Plug in the Receiver: Plug the thermostat receiver into a standard 100-240V AC wall outlet. Ensure the outlet is easily accessible.
3. Connect Appliance: Plug your heating or cooling appliance into the thermostat receiver's outlet.
4. Initial Pairing (if necessary): If you have multiple units and wish for one remote to control only one outlet, ensure other remote controls are powered off (remove batteries) during the pairing process. The units are typically pre-paired from the factory.

5. Operating Modes and Settings

The DIGITEN Wireless Thermostat supports both Heating and Cooling modes. The mode is determined by the relationship between your set RUN and STOP temperatures.

5.1. Setting Temperatures and Modes

• Heating Mode: Set the temperature RUN value lower than the STOP value (RUN < STOP). The appliance will turn on when the temperature drops to the RUN value and turn off when it reaches the STOP value.
• Cooling Mode: Set the temperature RUN value higher than the STOP value (RUN > STOP). The appliance will turn on when the temperature rises to the RUN value and turn off when it drops to the STOP value.

Use the 'SET' button and arrow keys on the remote to adjust the RUN and STOP temperatures. The LCD display will show the current temperature, as well as your set RUN and STOP temperatures.

5.3. Additional Functions

• Temperature Unit Switch: Easily switch between Celsius (0C) and Fahrenheit (0F) using the appropriate button on the remote.
• Manual ON/OFF Button: The receiver (outlet) has a manual ON/OFF button, allowing you to control the connected appliance directly without the remote.
• Memory Function: All settings are saved even if there is a power failure.

• No Display on Remote: Ensure 2 AAA batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace batteries if necessary.
• Outlet Not Responding to Remote:
  • Ensure the remote and receiver are within the 100m (open space) transmission range. Walls and obstacles can reduce this range.
  • If you have multiple DIGITEN units, ensure only the remote you intend to pair is powered on during the pairing process to avoid interference.
  • Check if the receiver's manual ON/OFF button is in the correct position.
• Appliance Not Turning On/Off at Set Temperature:
  • Verify that the RUN and STOP temperatures are set correctly for your desired mode (Heating: RUN < STOP; Cooling: RUN > STOP).
  • Ensure the temperature probe is properly connected and positioned to accurately measure the ambient temperature relevant to your appliance.
• High/Low Temperature Alarm Beeping: This indicates the temperature has exceeded or fallen below the set alarm thresholds. Refer to the video in Section 5.1 or consult the original manual for instructions on how to adjust or disable these alarm settings.
• Unit Overheating/Melting: The maximum load capacity is 15A (1650W at 110VAC, 3300W at 220VAC). Do not exceed these limits. Ensure your connected appliance's wattage and amperage are well within the thermostat's specifications to prevent damage or safety hazards. If your appliance draws close to or exceeds these limits, consider using a heavy-duty relay box in conjunction with the thermostat to handle the load, as suggested by some users.
• Inconsistent Temperature Readings: Ensure the temperature probe is not directly exposed to drafts, direct sunlight, or heat sources that could skew readings.
