4. Compatibility Requirements
Ensure your setup meets the following requirements for optimal performance:

5. Installation
Follow these steps carefully for installation. If you are unsure, consult a qualified electrician.
- Turn Off Power: Locate your circuit breaker and turn off the power to the switch box you will be working on. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
- Remove Old Switch: Carefully remove the existing wall plate and switch from the wall box.
- Identify Wires: Identify the following wires in your switch box:
- Live (Line) Wire (L IN): Typically black, carries power from the circuit breaker.
- Neutral Wire (N IN): Typically white, completes the circuit.
- Fan Load Wire (L1 Fan OUT): Connects to the ceiling fan.
- Light Load Wire (L2 Light OUT): Connects to the ceiling light.
- Ground Wire: Typically bare copper or green.
- Wire the Smart Switch: Connect the wires from your wall box to the corresponding terminals on the MOES Smart Switch as shown in the diagram below. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Connect the Live (Line) wire to the 'L IN' terminal.

- Connect the Fan Load wire to the 'L1 Fan OUT' terminal.
- Connect the Light Load wire to the 'L2 Light OUT' terminal.
- Connect the Ground wire to the ground terminal (if available on the switch, otherwise ensure it is safely capped or connected to the box if applicable).
- Mount the Switch: Gently push the wired switch into the wall box and secure it with screws. Attach the faceplate.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker. The switch indicator lights should illuminate.

6. App Setup and Pairing
To enable smart features, connect your switch to the Smart Life or Tuya Smart app.
- Download App: Download the 'Smart Life' or 'Tuya Smart' app from your mobile device's app store (iOS or Android).
- Register/Login: Open the app and register for a new account or log in with an existing one.
- Enter Pairing Mode: After installation and power restoration, the switch's indicator light should blink rapidly. If not, press and hold the light button on the switch for 5-10 seconds until it blinks rapidly.
- Add Device: In the app, tap the '+' icon (usually in the top right corner) to add a device. The app should automatically discover the switch via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for quick configuration.
- Confirm Connection: Follow the in-app prompts to confirm the device and connect it to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Enter your Wi-Fi password when requested.
- Rename Device: Once connected, you can rename the switch (e.g., "Living Room Fan Light") for easier control.

7.1 Manual Touch Control

7.2 App Control

- Fan Humming/Noise:

- Light/Fan Not Controlled Independently:
- Ensure you have two separate load wires connected to the 'L1 Fan OUT' and 'L2 Light OUT' terminals.
- Check app settings to confirm independent control options are selected.
- Voice Control Not Working:
