Setup
Powering the Amplifier
- DC Adaptor: Connect the supplied DC adaptor to the 'DC' input on the rear panel. Ensure the power switch is in the 'OFF' position before connecting.
- Battery Power: For portable use, the amplifier can be powered by 10 x AA batteries (not included). Insert batteries into the compartment on the rear panel. This provides approximately 3 hours of power at full volume, 5 hours at 50% volume, and 8 hours at low volume. Disconnect the DC adaptor when using battery power.
Connecting Instruments and Microphones
- Channel 1 (XLR/Instrument Input): This channel features an XLR input for microphones and a 1/4" jack for instruments. Use the 'MIC/LINE' switch to select the appropriate input type. Phantom power is switchable for condenser microphones.
- Channel 2 (Instrument Input): This channel is designed for acoustic guitars or other instruments using a 1/4" jack.
- Aux-In: A 3.5mm Aux-In jack is available for connecting external audio devices like MP3 players, allowing you to play along with backing tracks.
