Package Contents
Before beginning assembly, verify that all parts are present and undamaged. The package should contain:
- 1 x Seat Piece
- 1 x Back/Arm Piece
- 4 x Legs (with casters attached)
- Assembly Hardware (bolts, screws, washers)
- Allen Tools
If any parts are missing or damaged, please contact customer support immediately.
Setup and Assembly
Assembly typically requires two people, but can be completed by one person with careful attention to instructions. Average assembly time is approximately one hour per chair.
Preparation:
- Unpack all components and remove packaging materials.
- Organize all bolts, screws, and washers. Ensure you use the correct length screw for each connection point to avoid damage.
- Assemble on a soft surface, such as carpet, to prevent scratching or damaging the chair components. A closed shipping box can be used to support the seat or backrest during assembly.
Assembly Steps:
- Attach the legs to the seat piece. Important: The two front legs are not interchangeable. Ensure the indented lines on the front legs face outward, away from the seat, for correct brace alignment.
- Attach the back/arm piece to the seat and legs.
- During initial assembly, do not fully tighten any screws. Leave them slightly loose to allow for proper alignment of all parts.
- Once all pieces are in place and all screws are inserted, gradually and alternately tighten adjacent bolts/screws until secure. This method ensures correct alignment and stability.
- While Allen tools are provided, a power drill with the correct size Allen head can expedite the process. Exercise extreme caution not to overtighten screws with a power tool, as this can strip threads or damage the wood.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and appearance of your chair, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: The faux leather upholstery is easy to clean. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild soap as needed. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Wood Care: For the wood frame, wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
- Casters: Periodically check the casters for any debris or hair that may impede smooth rolling. Clean as necessary.
- Fasteners: Occasionally check all bolts and screws to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability.
Troubleshooting
- Missing or Damaged Parts: If you receive the product with missing components or damaged parts, contact Steve Silver Furniture customer support for assistance and replacement parts.
- Difficulty Assembling: Ensure all screws are loosely fitted before tightening. Verify that legs are oriented correctly (front legs with indented lines facing outward). Refer to the assembly steps carefully.
- Casters Not Rolling Smoothly: Check for any obstructions (e.g., carpet fibers, hair) in the caster wheels. Clean the casters if necessary. If ball bearings appear to be falling out, contact customer support for replacement casters.
- Chair Feels Wobbly: Ensure all assembly screws are fully tightened. If wobbling persists, disassemble and reassemble, paying close attention to the gradual tightening process.
