1. Product Overview

The Beats Solo3 Wireless On-Ear Headphones offer a premium listening experience with advanced wireless technology and extended battery life. Featuring the Apple W1 chip, these headphones provide seamless connectivity and efficient power management.

2. Setup and Pairing

1. Power On: Press and hold the power button on the right earcup for 1 second to turn on the headphones.
2. Initial Pairing (Apple Devices): For iPhone users, simply power on the headphones and hold them near your iPhone. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect. The Apple W1 chip enables seamless setup and switching across your iCloud-connected Apple devices (Apple Watch, iPad, Mac).
3. Pairing (Android & Other Bluetooth Devices): Activate Bluetooth on your device. On the Beats Solo3, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes. Select "Beats Solo3" from the list of available Bluetooth devices on your phone.
4. Charging: Connect the Universal USB charging cable (USB-A to USB Micro-B) to the charging port on the headphones and a USB power adapter (sold separately). A 5-minute charge provides 3 hours of playback with Fast Fuel technology. A full charge offers up to 40 hours of listening time.

3. Operating Instructions

• Audio Controls: Use the 'b' button on the left earcup to control your music and calls.
  • Press 1x: Play/Pause music, Answer/End call.
  • Press 2x: Skip forward.
  • Press 3x: Skip backward.
• Volume Control: Use the volume up (+) and volume down (-) buttons located above and below the 'b' button on the left earcup.
• Activate Siri/Voice Assistant: Press and hold the 'b' button to activate Siri (iOS) or your device's voice assistant (Android).
• Noise Cancellation: The headphones feature sound isolation to buffer outside noise, providing an immersive audio experience.

4. Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the headphones. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: When not in use, store the headphones in the provided carrying case to protect them from dust, scratches, and impacts.
• Battery Longevity: To maximize battery life, avoid exposing the headphones to extreme temperatures.

5. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Ensure the headphones are fully charged. Check the battery indicator lights by pressing the power button.
• Connectivity Issues:
  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the headphones are in pairing mode.
  • Try forgetting the device on your phone's Bluetooth settings and re-pairing.
  • Ensure the earcup with the power button (right side) is correctly positioned on your right ear for optimal microphone performance during calls.
• No Audio/Low Volume: Check the volume levels on both your headphones and the connected device. Ensure the 3.5mm RemoteTalk cable is securely connected if using a wired connection.
