Setup

1. Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the USB Type-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The LED indicator will show charging status (e.g., red while charging, green when fully charged).

2. Powering On/Off

To power on the speaker, press and hold the central power button (circle icon) for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED indicator lights up. To power off, press and hold the same button until the speaker shuts down.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (the LED indicator will typically flash blue).
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "ZK202" from the list of found devices.
  4. Once connected, the speaker will provide an audible confirmation, and the LED indicator will turn solid blue.

4. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

For an enhanced stereo experience, you can pair two ZK202 speakers together:

  1. Ensure both ZK202 speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
  2. On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), double-click the central power button (circle icon). The speaker will enter TWS pairing mode.
  3. The two speakers will automatically search for and connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear an audible confirmation.
  4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in step 3. Both speakers will play audio in stereo.

5. Connecting Non-Bluetooth Devices

The speaker supports audio playback from Micro SD cards and via a 3.5mm AUX cable.

The ZK202 speaker is IPX6 water-resistant, meaning it can withstand powerful water jets. It is suitable for use in wet environments like bathrooms, by the pool, or at the beach. Important: Ensure the rubber cover for the charging and AUX ports is securely sealed before exposing the speaker to water. Do not submerge the speaker completely in water.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

Speaker won't turn on.Ensure the speaker is charged. Connect it to a power source and try again.
Cannot pair via Bluetooth.
  • Ensure the speaker is in pairing mode (flashing blue LED).
  • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
  • Move the speaker closer to your device.
  • Forget "ZK202" from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
  • If issues persist, try resetting the speaker by holding the 'M' button for 8 seconds.
No sound or low volume.
  • Increase the volume on both the speaker (using the rotary knob or '+' button) and your connected device.
  • Ensure the speaker is properly connected via Bluetooth or AUX.
  • If using Micro SD, ensure audio files are in supported formats and in the root directory.
TWS pairing failed.
  • Ensure both speakers are ZK202 models.
  • Make sure both speakers are not connected to any other Bluetooth device before initiating TWS pairing.
  • Try powering both speakers off and on, then attempt TWS pairing again.
