Operating Instructions
- Power On: Plug the steamer into a suitable electrical outlet (240V). The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the unit is heating up.

- Using Attachments:
- The fabric brush helps to open the weave of the fabric for better steam penetration, especially useful for heavier materials and for removing lint.
- The upholstery attachment is designed for delicate fabrics and for refreshing furniture, drapes, and other household textiles.
- Finishing: When done, release the steam trigger. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
Care and Maintenance
Proper care ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your steamer.
- Empty Water Tank: After each use, allow the steamer to cool down completely. Empty any remaining water from the tank to prevent mineral buildup.
- Cleaning Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the steamer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Descaling: If you notice reduced steam output or mineral residue, descaling may be necessary. Consult the Solac website or customer support for specific descaling instructions, as this process can vary. Generally, this involves steaming a solution of water and white vinegar (in recommended proportions) through the unit.
- Storage: Store the steamer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure the power cord is neatly wrapped and not kinked.
