Setup and Installation

  5. Connect Wires:
    • Connect the HOT (black or red) wire to the brass-colored screw terminals.
    • Connect the NEUTRAL (white) wire to the silver-colored screw terminals.
    • Connect the GROUND (bare copper or green) wire to the green screw terminal.

    Ensure all connections are tight and secure. For back-wiring, insert the stripped wire into the appropriate hole and tighten the screw.

  6. Mount Receptacle: Carefully push the wired receptacle back into the wall box. Secure it with the mounting screws provided.
