Introduction
This manual provides instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your Alienware AW2720HF 27-inch 240Hz Gaming Monitor. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper functionality and safety.

Safety Information
- Ensure the monitor is placed on a stable, level surface to prevent accidental falls.
- Do not block ventilation openings. Proper airflow is essential to prevent overheating.
- Use only the power adapter and cables provided with the monitor.

Setup Instructions
1. Assembling the Monitor Stand
- Place the monitor base on a flat surface.
- Attach the riser to the base and secure it.
- Carefully attach the monitor panel to the assembled stand until it clicks into place. No tools are required for assembly.

2. Connecting Cables
Connect the necessary cables to the monitor and your computer:
- Power Cable: Connect one end to the monitor's power input and the other to a wall outlet.
- Video Cable: Connect either the DisplayPort cable or the HDMI cable from your computer's graphics card to the corresponding port on the monitor. For optimal performance (240Hz refresh rate), DisplayPort is recommended.
- USB Upstream Cable: Connect the USB 3.0 upstream cable from your computer to the monitor's upstream USB port to enable the monitor's USB hub functionality.

3. Cable Management
Route the connected cables through the cable management slot in the stand and attach the cable cover to maintain a tidy setup.
4. Adjusting the Monitor
The monitor offers various ergonomic adjustments:
- Height Adjustment: Gently push or pull the monitor panel up or down.
- Tilt Adjustment: Tilt the screen forward or backward to your preferred viewing angle.
- Swivel Adjustment: Rotate the monitor left or right on its stand.
- Pivot Adjustment: Rotate the monitor 90 degrees to a portrait orientation.

Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
Press the power button located on the bottom right side of the monitor to turn it on or off. The Alienware logo on the back of the monitor will illuminate when powered on.
On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu Navigation
The monitor features a joystick control on the right side for navigating the OSD menu. Press the joystick to open the OSD menu, then move it up, down, left, or right to select and adjust settings. Individual buttons near the joystick can be assigned as shortcuts for frequently used tools and settings.

Troubleshooting

- No Power: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the monitor and a working power outlet. Check the power indicator light on the monitor.
- No Signal: Verify that the video cable (DisplayPort or HDMI) is correctly connected to both the monitor and your computer's graphics card. Ensure the correct input source is selected in the OSD menu.
- Flickering Screen: Check your graphics card drivers are up to date. Ensure the video cable is not damaged. If using FreeSync, try disabling it temporarily to see if the issue persists.
- Image Quality Issues: Adjust brightness, contrast, and color settings through the OSD menu. Ensure the display resolution and refresh rate are correctly set in your operating system's display settings.
Maintenance
- Cleaning the Screen: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, dampen the cloth slightly with water or a non-ammonia, non-alcohol based screen cleaner. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the screen.
- Cleaning the Casing: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the monitor casing. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
