5. Operating Instructions
The SILVERCREST UV Mite Vacuum Cleaner offers three integrated functions for thorough cleaning:
- Power On: Press the power button located on the handle to turn on the appliance.
- UV Disinfection Lamp: The UV-C lamp is designed to sterilize surfaces. It will only activate when the appliance is placed firmly on a surface and the power button is pressed. This auto-off safety feature prevents accidental UV exposure. Move the vacuum cleaner slowly over the surface to be disinfected.
- Vacuum Mode: Simultaneously with the UV lamp, the vacuum function will activate. Guide the appliance over mattresses, pillows, or upholstery. The powerful suction will draw in dust, mites, and other particles.
- Rolling & Tapping Function: This function works in conjunction with the vacuum and UV lamp. The integrated rollers and tapping mechanism help to dislodge deeply embedded dust and mites from fabric fibers, making them easier to vacuum.
- Effective Cleaning: For best results, move the vacuum cleaner in slow, overlapping passes across the entire surface.
- Power Off: Press the power button again to turn off the appliance. Unplug it from the power outlet after use.
