The Bertini Penn Dresser Topper is designed to convert the Bertini Penn 9-Drawer Dresser (sold separately, Model DL1747-1) into a convenient changing station. It features a sturdy wood construction with a gray sand finish, two side storage compartments, and a central area to accommodate a standard size changing pad (sold separately). The topper includes a felt-lined bottom to protect the dresser surface.

- WARNING: This dresser topper is designed to be securely fastened to the Bertini Penn 9-Drawer Dresser (DL1747-1). Do not use this topper on any other dresser or surface unless explicitly stated by the manufacturer.

Note: The Bertini Penn 9-Drawer Dresser (DL1747-1) and a standard size changing pad are sold separately and are required for full functionality.
3. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps carefully to assemble and secure your dresser topper.

Assembly Steps:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Place them on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratching. Verify all parts listed in Section 2 are present.
- Inspect Topper: Examine the dresser topper unit for any damage or defects. The topper features a central compartment for a changing pad and two side compartments for storage.

- Position Topper on Dresser: Carefully lift the dresser topper and place it centered on top of the Bertini Penn 9-Drawer Dresser (DL1747-1). Ensure the felt-lined bottom is in contact with the dresser surface to prevent scratches.
- Secure Topper to Dresser: Locate the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the dresser topper and the corresponding locations on the top surface of the dresser. Using the provided mounting hardware (screws), securely fasten the topper to the dresser. Do not overtighten.

- Place Changing Pad: Once the topper is securely attached, place a standard size changing pad (sold separately) into the central compartment of the topper.
4. Operating Instructions
The Bertini Penn Dresser Topper provides a dedicated and organized space for changing your baby.
- Changing Area: The central compartment is designed to hold a standard changing pad. Always ensure the changing pad is properly seated and secure before placing your baby on it.
- Storage Compartments: Utilize the two side compartments to keep essential changing supplies such as diapers, wipes, creams, and extra clothing within easy reach. This helps maintain a safe changing environment by minimizing the need to turn away from your baby.
- Safety First: Always keep one hand on your baby while they are on the changing station. Never leave your baby unattended.
5. Maintenance and Care
